Scripts are the most common type of addon, and are a fundamental feature of MediaMonkey for Windows. They are extensions built by third parties that allow the user to automate MediaMonkey and enhance it with new features as automated tagging, resuming playback on startup, getting info from the internet, etc.

Addons for MediaMonkey are available at the addons page and in the MediaMonkey 4 scripting and MediaMonkey 5 scripting forums.

Note that MediaMonkey 4 addons are generally not compatible with MediaMonkey 5 (the only ones that are compatible are Winamp 2 compatible input, output, and DSP plugins).
